WINTER president's Message

Greetings From "El Presidente"

Good Day, y'all,

I sat down to type this missive two days after election day, and I am relieved and HAPPY, that the political ads have stopped... For a while. I hope all of you had a good take-away or two also 2024 is winding down and planning is underway for shows and meetings for 2025. You can read elsewhere in the newsletter about the Fall M/D picnic at the Varricchio Ranch (food and company great as usual). More to come in the Springtime.

FCA National is working hard to get the Pittsburg(h) Convention together and running. The Convention is July 10, 11 and 12 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 500 Mansfield Ave. Pittsburgh, PA. If you think you might go, get your hotel reservations NOW. They sell out fast! We will run a "Migration" from M/D country up to there.

Le Bon Temps Chapter is hosting a regional meet April 10-12 2025 in Prairieville, Louisianna (that’s Loozieanna for all you Nawtherners) It will be held at a Ford dealer on the Saturday. The nearby hotels are reasonably priced, and they are having a number of great-sounding activities. Pilar and I will be driving our Convertible there and back.

Some thought and head scratching is ongoing about a Mason Dixon Regional next September/October. You can reach out to el pres for thoughts on this thru the usual channels. I would love to hear from you.

If I don't see or talk to you thru years end, Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!

All the best from us at the el pres garage!

Mike Garrett
